It helps in flattening the lumbar curve and stretching of lower back.

Anatomically contoured (i.e. shaped to fit the curve of your lower back) posterior bars. The posterior bars are made of aluminum and can be adjusted to fit your back. Cheaper products are plastic which cannot be adjusted this way.
